NYCxDESIGN (NYC by Design) will be returning to the city for its second year this week with hundreds of shows, events and workshops celebrating design from all around the five boroughs. The 12-day soirée will take place at multiple locations in NYC from May 9th through May 20th, highlighting locally-made products, art, crafts, clothing, graphics, furniture and even buildings. The initiative, along with the Built/NYC program that was launched after the success of last year’s NYCxDESIGN, is aimed towards supporting New York City-based designers and growing the local economy.
